As creative people, it’s important that we know what’s cool and what’s not, so we keep a close eye on industry trends to give us a helping hand. We’ve been looking into the key trends for 2017 as predicted by a number of experts – in summary, it looks like it’s going to be a big year, with influencer marketing leading the way.
In case you don’t know what influencer marketing is, it focuses on using key leaders within a particular market/audience to drive a brand’s message to the rest of that market/audience. So, rather than marketing to a large group of consumers, you target specific people, or ‘influencers’ – bloggers and those cool kids on social media, you know the ones. It’s all about inspiring those individuals enough to spread the word for you...makes perfect sense if you think about it.
